The thermal imaging camera is a fantastic tool for analyzing the building envelope of a property or for that matter finding uneven loads in e.g. a building. switchboards and machinery. Using a thermal imaging camera is easy, but getting a thermal image that shows what you are looking for is not so easy. The difficult part is to know which environmental factors affect the results and how to deal with them, and what you actually see in the thermal image.
Objectives
The course provides knowledge about how a thermal imaging camera works and which environmental factors affect the result and how this should be handled. The aim of the course is to enable the participants to feel confident in how to take an informative thermal image and then be able to analyze the image correctly.
Target group
Anyone who has or is in the process of acquiring a thermal imaging camera and wants to learn about its possibilities and limitations.
