If you need a measuring instrument for accurate temperature measurement or if you want to measure the temperature in several places at the same time, the testo 735-1 is the perfect equipment for you. Measures surface, air and core temperatures – in up to 6 locations simultaneously

With Pt100 technology, you can achieve highly accurate temperature measurements with the testo 735-1. The testo 735-1 not only displays temperatures in real time. It also shows min/max and average values on the instrument display. When two temperature sensors are connected, the temperature meter calculates the differential temperature and displays it as delta-T. In addition, an audible alarm sounds when the readings fall below or exceed your set alarm limits. The display illumination enables clear reading of measured values even in dark environments. The testo 735-1 is also waterproof according to protection class IP65, is tested according to EN 13485, is HACCP compliant and has international HACCP certification.

Documentation of measurement data with Testo’s high-speed printers

If you need to document measured temperature values, these can be easily transferred from the testo 735-1 to the testo rapid printer via Bluetooth.

The testo 735-2 is a digital multi-channel thermometer that has a wide range of applications. This is hardly a surprise given that you can use it for virtually any type of temperature measurement such as core temperatures, air temperatures, surface temperatures, liquid media, etc. It is also perfect as a reference thermometer as it can measure with an accuracy of up to 0.05°C with a high accuracy Pt100 sensor. The robust metal enclosure makes the testo 176 T3 temperature logger suitable for use in harsh environments such as the UK. You can measure and log the temperature at up to four points simultaneously. It is possible to connect four TE type K, type T or type J thermocouple sensors with thermocouple contacts. You can choose thermocouple sensors from our wide range of sensors (see tab “Sensors”).

The advantage of thermocouple sensors is that they react very quickly and cover a large measurement range. For example, you can log especially low temperatures (as low as -195°C) using a type K temperature sensor – depending on the model selected – or you can perform high temperature measurements (up to +1000°C). This allows you to measure in super freezers and also monitor high temperature industrial processes.

The temperature data logger’s memory can store up to 2 million measurements and is therefore suitable for long-term measurements, eliminating the need to read out the measurement data too often. The data logger has a battery life of up to 8 years, which also makes it a practical instrument for long-term measurements.

Technical features and practical benefits

The temperature data logger testo 176 T3 has a metal enclosure, which is a great advantage for e.g.. temperature monitoring in harsh environments. It can also withstand hard shocks and impacts and is fully dust- and water-proof according to protection class IP65. You can therefore use the data logger for long-term measurements under extreme conditions with high demands on accuracy. It can also be left on the measurement site during cleaning of the measurement site.

Measurement data is safe in the testo 176 T3 and will not be lost even if the battery runs out or is replaced.

Advanced measurement techniques. High data security.

You can choose external thermocouple sensors from our wide range of sensors and order them to be delivered together with the data logger. This gives you flexibility and means you can decide exactly what your temperature logger needs to be able to do. The range we offer includes surface sensors, air sensors and dip/insert sensors and wire sensors. The measurement range and accuracy depends on the selected thermocouple sensors. In principle, it is possible to measure from -200°C to +1000°C with a suitable sensor.

The temperature logger display gives you a wide range of valuable information including current readings, exceeded limits, min/max values and remaining battery power. As all this information is directly on the display, there is no need to boot up your computer. In addition to these valuable features, the logger also has a super large data memory that can store up to 1 million measurements and an exceptionally long battery life of up to 8 years. This gives you the freedom to read out measurement data at longer intervals even when measurement cycles are shorter. The AA battery (3.6V) supplied is user replaceable. You can rely on a high level of data security when using the testo 176 T4 temperature logger. Saved measurement data is not lost even if the battery is empty or replaced.

Programming and reading the logger is done via a standard USB connection. Alternatively, this can be done via an SD memory card, directly at the measurement site without dismantling the logger.

Programming the logger and analyzing the measurement data

Choose one of three software versions to program or read out your logger or to analyze the measurement data you have transferred to your computer:

• The ComSoft Basic software – available for free download – allows you to program your logger and analyze the measurement data quickly and easily.
• The optional ComSoft Professional software gives you additional possibilities and a more detailed analysis of the measurement values.
• ComSoft CFR 21 Part 11 software – optional – ideal for the specific requirements of the pharmaceutical sector in accordance with 21 CFR Part 11.

Included in delivery

Data logger testo 176 T4 with connection for four external thermocouple sensors, including wall mount, lock, batteries and factory protocol. ATTENTION! To program the data logger you need a USB cable which is not included in the delivery but can be ordered under the accessories tab. The measurement data can be transferred to the computer via the USB cable or to an optional SD card.
