testo 164 T1 – Mini data logger for temperature

The testo 164 T1 is a compact and user-friendly temperature data logger, designed to be used with a testo 164 gateway. You can choose between two different gateway options: WiFi connection or Ethernet connection. Through the gateway, the loggers are connected to the testo Smart Connect cloud service, where all measurement data is automatically collected and can be accessed in real time – no matter where you are. Thanks to the fact that the data logger can be connected to a dedicated gateway with Ethernet connection, it also works in premises without WiFi. Pairing between the logger and the gateway is easy at the touch of a button and they communicate with each other via radio signal.

The small testo 164 data loggers and the matching gateway with WiFi or Ethernet are a perfect team for discreet monitoring of your indoor climate.

The testo 164 T1 measures temperature with an integrated digital sensor in the range -30 °C to +70 °C and has an impressive battery life of 8 years. With its compact dimensions (62.6 × 38 × 17.5 mm) and unobtrusive design, it is easily placed in rooms or storage and display cabinets without taking up much space – ideal, for example, in exhibition environments where the loggers should do their job without being seen.

testo Smart Connect – smart and easy climate monitoring

With testo Smart Connect, climate monitoring is both simple and reliable. You simply create an account, connect your data loggers and set alarm limits – then the system takes care of everything automatically. When limits are exceeded, you’ll receive instant alerts via push notifications from the testo Smart app or email.

All measurement data from all connected data loggers is continuously transferred to the cloud and can be followed in real time via mobile, tablet or computer. The platform provides a clear overview of all measurement points in one place. If you also connect the service to the testo Smart app, you get access to additional features, such as quick configuration, easy access to data and alarms via push notifications. You can also connect WiFi loggers from the testo 160 and 162 series to the same account in the cloud – for even more flexible and integrated monitoring options.

When registering a cloud account in testo Smart Connect, an email address is required. We recommend that you do not use a “personal” email address. Instead, it is better to create a “general address” that is not linked to a specific person. A suitable example could be ”info@exempel.com” or similar.
