The temperature logger testo 176 T2 is particularly suitable for reliable temperature monitoring on two channels. You can connect two freely selectable Pt100 sensors to the data logger, which can be found under the “sensors” tab. It is possible to safely store temperature values from two different measurement sites and, if necessary, compare them on site directly on the data logger’s display.
You can perform temperature monitoring for longer periods of time, eliminating the need for overly frequent data readings. The data logger can store up to 2 million measurements. Its battery life of up to 8 years also makes it practical for long-term temperature monitoring.

Technical features and practical benefits

The logger display gives you an overview of the current measured values, set limits and limit violations, min/max values and also the remaining battery life. There is therefore no need to read out the data logger to your PC to quickly check it. Data security is our top priority: you can be sure that the measurement data stored in the temperature logger will not be lost. You can choose external thermocouple sensors from our wide range of sensors and order them to be delivered together with the data logger. This gives you flexibility and means you can decide exactly what your temperature logger needs to be able to do. The range we offer includes surface sensors, air sensors and dip/insert sensors and wire sensors. The measurement range and accuracy depends on the selected thermocouple sensors. In principle, it is possible to measure from -200°C to +1000°C with a suitable sensor.

The temperature logger display gives you a wide range of valuable information including current readings, exceeded limits, min/max values and remaining battery power. As all this information is directly on the display, there is no need to boot up your computer. In addition to these valuable features, the logger also has a super large data memory that can store up to 1 million measurements and an exceptionally long battery life of up to 8 years. This gives you the freedom to read out measurement data at longer intervals even when measurement cycles are shorter. The AA battery (3.6V) supplied is user replaceable. You can rely on a high level of data security when using the testo 176 T4 temperature logger. Saved measurement data is not lost even if the battery is empty or replaced.

Programming and reading the logger is done via a standard USB connection. Alternatively, this can be done via an SD memory card, directly at the measurement site without dismantling the logger.
