The testo 175 T2 temperature logger has an internal sensor and a connection for an external temperature sensor. This means that it is ideally suited for use when you not only want to record the indoor temperature but also want to perform a simultaneous temperature check such as the following core temperature measurement in a product. This is useful when storing and processing food. For example: the ambient conditions of your products in storage areas and cold rooms, and at the same time control the temperature of the product itself with e.g. a plug-in sensor (optional). Temperature measurement in the gaps between packages is also possible. The measurement data from both channels is securely stored in your temperature logger.

The optional temperature sensors connected to the data logger are equipped with a high accuracy NTC sensor (± 0.5°C). The internal NTC sensor also has high accuracy and a measuring range of -35°C to +55°C, which means that the data logger can be used in cold rooms and freezers. The accuracy and measuring range of optional connectable temperature sensors depends on the selected sensor model. For example, measurements in higher temperature ranges (up to +120 °C) are also possible with a suitable temperature probe.

This means that the data logger is ideally suited for temperature recording on two channels. This is necessary, for example, if you want to check that a heating system is working properly.
