PEL 113 is an easy-to-use and portable instrument for energy analysis and energy optimization, including pre and post measurements. Measures, among other things, current, voltage, energy and all effects on 1- or 3-phase installations. Perfect for a longer measurement on a site to see the total energy consumption or the produced energy from a PV installation. With its very wide measuring ranges on both DC and AC voltage as well as AC and DC current, the PEL 113 can be used in a variety of electrical installations. All depending on which current clamps are connected. Both voltage and current ranges can be set up to 650 kV and 25 kA (10 GW).

Communication

Wi-Fi, Ethernet, USB and memory card. With the PEL113 connected to Wi-Fi, via a network or directly to a PC, both alarms and automatic reports can be created and sent by e-mail. Wi-Fi can either be connected to a network via a server, or directly to a PC or smartphone. IRD DataView Synch connects to a secure server so that all measurements are available wherever you are.

Measurement

Stores min, -max and average values of each second with a sampling rate of 128 measurements per period (20 ms) of power and energy consumption in all four quadrants. The PEL 113 shows processes down to 200 ms. Simultaneously, power factor measurement and total and individual harmonic analysis up to the 50th harmonic are performed, all of which are stored in memory.

For example, with a 10-minute period selected with 1 s trend over 30 days, 3.2 GB is used. If 1 s trend is not selected, 0.52 GB is used. The supplied memory card is 8 GB and the PEL 113 can handle cards up to 32 GB.

Software

Supplied with Swedish license-free software and Swedish manual. For measurement of transients and fast processes below 1 ms, we recommend our Qualistar series CA8331, CA8333, CA8336, CA8436 and CA8435

Monitoring energy consumption

With the PEL103, even the smallest consumption can be monitored in buildings, industries and other electrical environments. They simultaneously measure both real-time measurements and display previous measurements and analysis.

Preventive measurement

When used for a long time, the PEL103 logs all active, reactive and apparent effects on the network. This means that in case of a power peak, it will be immediately registered. With the Swedish software, automatically generated reports can then be made for analysis.

Measure what you save

The measured values stored in the PEL 103 are time and date stamped. This makes it easy to see where you are saving in energy consumption when measuring before and after a renovation. Reference values are obtained from previous measurements made with the PEL 103 at the same location. A properly installed PEL 103 gives you a quick overview of the installation, and because it is removable, an easy installation without breaking the power circuit. For measurements lasting a few days or a week, this is an advantage.
